We started brewing in 2017, and a year later our own brewery was up and running in Brno. We only brew beers we enjoy ourselves, and we’re not afraid to experiment.

Our philosophy

No boring beer

The world has enough boring beers. We brew the kind that make you stop, taste and talk about them.

Real craft beer

We don’t filter or pasteurise our beer. We leave in everything that gives it flavour and aroma, and we brew with quality ingredients.

Always something new

We brew over 40 beers a year. Alongside our core range we try new hops, styles and collaborations with other breweries.

Always fresh

We fill bottles, cans and kegs according to current demand. The beer reaches you fresh, just as it should.

We love it

We brew beers we like to drink ourselves. And when we come up with a beer that tastes like a dessert or an iced tea, we simply brew it.

How to enjoy
beer to the full

The questions you ask us most often, in the pub and online. Short answers, on video and in text.

How to pour beer properly?

Do not pour beer down the side of the glass just to avoid foam. The CO2 stays in the beer and you will feel bloated after drinking. The video shows how to pour it right.

Should beer be ice-cold?

Only the cheapest beer, where the cold masks off-flavours. Lagers are best at 6⁠–⁠8 °C, stronger specials at 10⁠–⁠12 °C. If your beer is too cold, just warm it in your hands for a moment.

Why no bubbles on the glass?

Bubbles on the side give away a badly washed glass, and the beer loses its character and bite. In a clean glass the beer leaves rings: every sip leaves a mark on the glass.

Are degrees percent?

Czech beers are named by degrees Plato, not by alcohol: an 11° lager has only about 5% ABV. The degrees show the original wort extract, i.e. how much sugar was in the wort before fermentation. That is why we list Plato.

Why don’t we want a long shelf life?

For industrial beer to last a year on the shelf, it has to be filtered and pasteurised. Our beer is unfiltered and unpasteurised, so it is alive and full of aroma. Drink it fresh and keep it cool.
